Teaching

In my opinion, the harp is the most beautiful instrument in the world. Learning to play the harp is not as complicated as many people imagine. The wonderful sound gives you a great of sense of achievement right from the start. 

Due to my pedagogical focus in my music studies, I received instruction in didactics from Prof.Gesine Dreyer,  Prof.Charlotte Seale and Blathnaid Fischer-Fuhrer. In addition I gained my knowledge of elementary music education from Meike Schmitz at the Hochschule of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin. Through my teaching at the Wundermusikschule Pankow and Jugendmusikschule Winterthur I have experience with both children and adults. I also worked with the Konzerthaus Berlin together in the junior education program and with the Creative Orchestra Project of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama London. 
I teach at the städtische Musikschule St.Gallen (CH) and Musikschule Kreuzlingen (CH).



Every person is different and that's why I always adapt my teaching material individually to the student. My goal is to build up a basic technique through targeted technical exercises that support the fun of playing the harp and enjoying music. 

Meiner Meinung nach ist die Harfe das schönste Instrument der Welt. Das Erlernen des Harfenspiels gestaltet sich weniger komplex, als viele Menschen annehmen. Der zauberhafte Klang vermittelt von Anfang an ein tiefgreifendes Gefühl der Erfüllung.

Durch meinen pädagogischen Schwerpunkt in meinem Musikstudium erhielt ich Unterricht  in Didaktik von Prof. Gesine Dreyer,  Prof. Charlotte Seale und Blathnaid Fischer-Fuhrer.  Ferner erweiterte ich mein Wissen in elementarer Musikpädagogik unter der Leitung von Meike Schmitz an der Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. Durch meine Lehrpraxis an der Wundermusikschule Pankow und an der Jugendmusikschule Winterthur sammelte ich umfassende Erfahrung im Umgang mit Kindern und Erwachsenen. Zudem kooperierte ich mit dem Konzerthaus Berlin im Rahmen des Junior Education Programms und mit dem Creative Orchestra Projekt der Guildhall School of Music and Drama London. 
Ich unterrichte an der städtischen Musikschule St.Gallen, an der Kantonsschule am Burggraben in St.Gallen und der Musikschule Kreuzlingen.

Da jeder Mensch individuell ist, passe ich mein Unterrichtsmaterial stets auf den einzelnen Schüler an. Mein Bestreben liegt darin, durch gezielte technische Übungen eine solide Grundtechnik zu vermitteln, die das Harfenspiel und die Freude an der Musik nachhaltig unterstützt.
